Nursing Home Ministry

The goal of our Nursing Home Ministry is to reach out to the residents in adult care facilities with the love of our Lord, the Word of God & the offer of salvation through Jesus Christ, our Lord. We take the words of Matthew 25:40 as guiding words from the Lord, In as much as you have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, you have done it unto me.It is our goal to share the Gospel with those needing Salvation and to uplift and encourage those who have a relationship with the Lord. Residents in senior care facilities face new challenges which can be difficult for many of them. We want to be there with Gods love. One in five adults over the age of 65 will spend some part of their remaining years in a senior care facility. We dont want them forgotten. Statistics show that 85% of care center residents never receive a single visit from friends or relatives! We at CCF truly care about the elderly in the many facilities of our country. We provide literature which includes Bibles and devotional materials to encourage, empower and uplift the residents and staff. The residents are greatly encouraged by this outreach of love!

We believe that the world can literally be reached with the Gospel. When God gave His "Great Commission" in Matthew 28, we do not find a list of directions on how to reach the world for Christ. He didn't give this command and then tell us how to complete this command. However, for far too long, American missions has been done the same way. Yes, there are some variations, but we have been sticking to the same script, for the most part. If the world was going to be reached with the Gospel by the efforts of American missionaries, it would have happened by now. American missionaries are rapidly leaving the field, far more than are going to the field. When the world is growing by 80 million people a year, we are unquestionably loosing ground. We believe that by helping the national pastor, our missions money can go much further, for a lot less. On average, national pastors can live on just 3% of what the foreign missionary needs. Christ commanded his disciples to go into all the world and make disciples. At CCF, we respond to Jesus' call by supporting full time missionaries as well as working with established full time missionary ministries that are dedicated to reaching people with the gospel message . The missionaries and ministries we support abroad and locally are making disciples of Christ throughout the world. We are thrilled to partner with them and hear of the things God is doing in and through them.
